Sara could barely believe they had made it out safety.

They were standing in the woods, far away from the military base.

Sara had ridden on Will’s werewolf back as he had bounded through the forest…

Sara had thrown her cell phone away. There was no way now the military could track them.

Sara fell asleep curled into a little ball, lying on the forest floor. Her head lay across Will’s werewolf haunches.

She felt secure for the first time since they had been kidnapped. She knew that Will would be able to protect her.
